Year 9 Mathematics

This course is designed to support students as they progress through Levels 4 and 5 of the Mathematics and Statistics curriculum. Students will learn critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and the ability to use basic techniques to solve problems through three content strands: Number and Algebra, Measurement and Space, and Statistics, and Probability. The concepts and skills learned will be the foundation for further Mathematics in Year 10.
