Year 9 Media Studies

Media Studies is learning about how we understand the media that surrounds us in daily life. You will grow your communication skills, creativity, media literacy, critical thinking and technical skills around a range of media products. You will apply these skills to your own media products.
In this course, you will:

• Look at misinformation and fake news
• Study the superhero genre and create our own superhero script and poster or film
• Study advertising and apply it to our own product
• Work on our technical skills at Capital E and in the classroom.
