Level 2 Te Reo Maori
Course Description

This course exposes students to a range of aspects of Te Reo Māori me ona Tikanga. Students will develop their ability to communicate information, ideas and opinions in Te Reo Maori about a range of contexts. Some of the topics include powhiri and tikanga, hakinakina me te mahi a rehia (sport and hobbies), ngā atua Maori (Maori Gods) and ngā wawata (dreams and aspirations).
Prerequisites
Level 1 Te Reo Māori is strongly recommended as it introduces the foundational learning for NCEA Te Reo Māori. However, this course is suitable for both native Reo Māori speakers and those interested in learning Te Reo Māori at an advanced level.
