Course Description

Level 2 Construction (Mix trades) 40 credits (2 days per week)
You will have the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills in the fields of Construction including: Plumbing, Painting and Electrical trades. This will include Health and Safety, workshop practice, the chance to work on projects and how to use hand tools safely. Each Trade offers an insight into the techniques, range of work and both employment and further study opportunities. You will also learn some beneficial communication skills, required to work within the Trades and how to present yourself for the industry.
Prerequisites
To apply, register with Ms. Siencyn for access to the WTA application. The process includes completing a school-endorsed form and an interview. Your attendance record and attitude towards learning will be considered. Please note choosing this option for Course Selection DOES NOT guarantee your place in the programme.
