PrerequisitesLevel 1 Gagana Sāmoa is strongly recommended, as the foundational learning for NCEA Gagana Sāmoa begins at this level. However, this course is open to both native Sāmoan speakers and those interested in studying Gagana Sāmoa at an advanced level.
This course develops students' ability to communicate and justify information, ideas and opinions in a variety of genuine contexts using the Sāmoan language. Students will further explore topics covered in Level 1 Gagana Sāmoa as well as begin to explore and justify ideas relating to cultural customs,
